Shout out to all the muddy boots wearing, early morning rising, chicken keeping, cow caring, goat herding, rabbit wrangling, horse helping soon to be exhibitors at the #ChesterFair. All that taking care of animals in the very early a.m. and the very late eves, fitting at around work and school and everything else that needs to happen in a day is so worthwhile. It’s started?? Yes, my cow #ChesterFair has begun! The animals can’t wait to see you. The midway is hopping. The parking lot is vast and free. Open today Friday until 11pm, Saturday starting at 8am. Come on out!

Cows, yep we’ll have ‘em. Not this stunning Br

Cows, yep we’ll have ‘em. Not this stunning British winner from the East Anglia Wayland fair, though a fine specimen of beasts of the field it be, nor these awfully cute sheep, nor black-face Suffolk rams—maybe, nor joker-faced Kerry Hill ewes with white-coated handlers, nor jacket potatoes with tuna and corn (😬), nor Old Hag, Black Bob and Wookey Hole (👀) cheese from the Cheese and Pie Man, not even £4 red deer hotdogs that rival our very own corn dogs, but yes, mighty cows whose 1500 pounds of lolling beef is sure to amaze, and fresh-faced teens taking them through their paces, and so many pretty sheep, and so many naughty goats baa-baaing and maa-maaing as if their very lives depended on it, yes, those we will have in spades, with all the corn dogs and cheese-dipped this and that you know and love on this side of the pond.... Do. Not. Miss. It!
